Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I use my EBT card?

You can use your EBT card anywhere in the United States that accepts SNAP EBT cards. The SNAP reseller finder allows anyone to find nearby authorized SNAP resellers by entering an address, city, state, or zip code. Enter your pickup location and select a retailer or point on the map for details and directions.

How to Check EBT Card Balance Without Card Number

  • In order to check the balance of your EBT card, you must first click on the link to your state’s EBT card balance checking page.
  • Now find your EBT card customer service phone number.
  • Dial the number and follow the instructions. You must choose a customer service agent to speak with the person.
  • Once connected to one of your account managers, let them know about your issue. Therefore, you need your social security number to verify your account balance.

How do I take out cash on my card?

If you use your EBT card to receive cash benefits, you can use your card at an authorized SNAP reseller to request a refund (although not all stores allow this). Some stores allow you to get cashback when you make a purchase, and some stores will enable you to withdraw cash without making a purchase. You must follow the store’s policy regarding cashback or cashback.
